About Vera
Built for the businesses the industry ignores.
Vera was built by Jesse Gwynne, an IT professional who spent years inside the managed services industry watching the same gap appear: small businesses with fewer than ten staff have the same IT needs as larger companies, but no access to the tools or expertise to manage them.
Managed service providers will not take them on. The margins are too thin. Enterprise IT platforms are built for IT departments that do not exist at this size. So the businesses caught in the middle do what they can: spreadsheets, sticky notes, or nothing at all. They hope that nothing breaks, that no one's credentials end up in a breach, that the SaaS renewals do not surprise them.
Vera closes that gap.
Why Vera exists

Who builds Vera
Vera is built in Australia by Jesse Gwynne, its founder. Jesse has spent years in managed IT services, the side of the industry that looks after businesses big enough to pay for an MSP contract, and kept seeing the businesses too small for that left to work it out alone.
Jesse also writes the Vera blog, which covers the IT, security and software cost questions those owners actually face.
